Kevin Lavelle is the Founder and CEO of Mizzen+Main, an innovative company changing the landscape of the apparel industry with its moisture wicking, wrinkle free, American made professional apparel.
 
After spending a year overseas during college in Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia, the international life continued its call. While working for international consulting firm Oliver Wyman, Kevin spent a year based out of their Dubai office working around the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Kevin also spent time consulting around the United States before moving to the venture capital group of the Hunt Consolidated family of companies in Dallas, Texas focusing on emerging energy technologies.
 
Kevin launched Mizzen+Main in July 2012 to create the next great American brand and bring innovation to classic menswear. Combining advanced performance fabrics with a refined, traditional style, Mizzen+Main changed the way men approach this staple of their wardrobe with a shirt that is moisture wicking, wrinkle free, has four way stretch, and requires no ironing or dry cleaning. The shirts have been on MSNBC, ESPN, NBA TV and been profiled in The New York Times, Esquire, The Wall Street Journal, Men’s Health, and many style blogs. Mizzen+Main is carried in Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, and many specialty stores on top of its rapidly expanding e-commerce presence. This is an athlete’s dream, and indeed we have a cadre of customers in the MLB, NFL, NHL, and NBA along with cyclists, triathletes, and weekend warriors too.Mizzen+Main keeps its products proudly American Made and is also committed to giving back to the veterans community with partnerships with The Navy SEAL Foundation, The Travis Manion Foundation, and 31 Heroes along with its own internal initiatives to help give returning servicemen and women job training opportunities. 
Kevin graduated summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University with a B.S. in Engineering. He is involved with the Young Entrepreneur Council, Global Shapers, and the SMU Young Alumni Board and lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Jen.
