Jasmin Brand is the Chief Executive Officer for Brandpointe, a branding company she launched in 2007 that specializes in strategic planning, innovative branding concepts, diversity marketing and strategic events.

Some of Brandpointe’s diverse clients have included: Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau, City of Dallas, YMCA, Mockingbird Station, Watters Creek , Elfa, The Greek Food Festival of Dallas, U.S. Conference of Mayors, UNT Dallas, Austin College, as well as nonprofits such as Reading Partners, DallasKidsFirst and the Junior League of Dallas to name a few. 

A former marketing executive with an extensive background in large scale campaigns, sales and consumer engagement, Jasmin is also passionate about creating and growing online communities. She serves as a social media consultant, collaborating with for profit and not profit companies. She was selected to speak at the 2011 TEDxSMU event held at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre in the Arts District. Her talk, “What Social Media and Ike Turner Have in Common” compared the love/hate relationship between performers Ike and Tina Turner to that of the sometimes challenging relationship between social media and educators. 

Jasmin graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from Southern Methodist University. She completed her Master’s Degree in Education in 2011. She is a 2011 graduate of the Dallas Regional Chamber's program, Leadership Dallas. In November 2011, Jasmin became the first ever recipient of the Young Professional Leadership ATHENA Award presented by the Dallas Regional Chamber and KPMG. 

Examiner.com named Jasmin ‘Best of the Best in Branding and Marketing for 2014” and she was recently honored by The Dallas Business Journal as a top minority business leader for 2015.

Her reputation as a city-wide influencer was further solidified when she created My Forward Life, an innovative multimedia and networking initiative for professional women in the summer of 2011. Since its inception, My Forward Life has connected thousands of Dallas’ brightest women with one another and plans to expand to other cities in 2015.
