The Pinnacle Group
SVP IT & Strategy
Dallas, Texas

As the Senior Vice President of Strategy for The Pinnacle Group, Freddy Vaca leads the Pinnacle family of companies’ business strategy and IT service operations throughout the United States and Canada.

Vaca is responsible for many key areas of Pinnacle’s operation including IT strategy, vendor management system, payrolling services and strategic initiatives.

As one of the longest-tenured employees in the company’s history, Vaca has been integral to the firm’s recognition as one of the fastest-growing companies across the country year in and year out (Inc. 500/5000 & Staffing Industry Analysts). He has overseen the growth of The Pinnacle Group into all 50 states, Canada and now globally.

Vaca was instrumental in negotiating the transformational acquisition of the Silicon Valley-based company, Provade, in 2011. This immediately took The Pinnacle Group global, with a presence in 60 countries, management of more than $2 billion in spend, two million registered users and the distinction of being the only woman-minority-owned staffing and workforce solutions organization that offers a true enterprise-class vendor management solution.

He was recently appointed to the board of MyPlates.com, the sole provider of specialty license plates in the state of Texas, which leverages its proprietary software to contribute millions of dollars to the state general fund each year. He currently serves on the policy council for the American Staffing Association, one of the largest and leading voices in the workforce solutions industry in the U.S.

For his civic and corporate contributions, Vaca was named to list of the Dallas Business Journal’s 40 under 40, which recognizes the top up-and-comers in the Dallas area. In January of 2015, the DBJ also named him one its Top Business Leaders.

Latino Leaders Magazine, a national publication profiling the most influential Hispanics in the country, recognized him as one of its Top 25 Leaders of the Future for his contributions to entrepreneurship and community enrichment.

Civically, Vaca dedicates significant time and resources to initiatives that benefit young children, women and the homeless, including The Boys and Girls Club of America, Back on My Feet, Parents Step Ahead and Heroes for Children. He has been a featured speaker at several educational and business-focused institutions, including Texas Christian University and the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute.
