Come learn more about the first competition in the Financial Solution Lab to support products and services that help consumers manage household finances on a tight budget.  The Lab is a $30 million initiative managed by CFSI with founding partner JPMorgan Chase to provide capital and technical assistance to an elite group of innovators to help increase the reach and impact of their products.

Facilitated by Social Venture Partners Dallas CEO Tony Fleo – SVP Dallas Partners Jonathan Blum and Keith Thode will share their practical experiences from actually developing sustainable social enterprises.

Participants are invited to bring their specific social sector sustainability challenges to the session and have experts and other participants help them develop sustainability plans for their ventures.

collaborative consumption space to the Dallas startup community. How will these 
movements impact Dallas? What can each of us do to participate? We’ll hear 
from those already involved in the movement in our North Texas community as 
well as leaders in the international ecosystem. 

Started just a few years ago as a peer-to-peer blogger movement to discuss 
changes in our business landscape, Ouishare has mushroomed to 60 cities, 
in 32 countries with more than 12,000 in its international ecosystem. Hear 
firsthand from Francesa Pick, one of the leaders of the international movement, 
about the inspiring Ouishare story of how young people with passion and ideas 
have come together to impact our world. Participate in the discussion, debate 
around topics that drive the sharing and collaborative economy such as open 
source and maker movements; platform business models; open governance and 
open currency systems. You’ll also hear from San Francisco based sharing 
economy activist Chelsea Rustum about her new book, "A Shareable Life,” a 
story of how the idea underlying the collaborative consumption space can 
change how to think about our daily life and values. 

Local coworking leaders Chirag Gupta and Oren Salomon will discuss how 
coworking and sharing go together and local startup CEO Aassia Haq will 
discuss why the sharing economy space in Texas – and around the world – is 
poised for explosive growth.

Most social good organizations are already “lean” by the traditional definition, but being Lean while doing social good takes on a different role. During this session, we will provide a behind the scenes look into building a Mission Driven Start-up, the lean way
