I have the best of both worlds, when it comes to writing: the ability to turn a phrase, thanks to a master's in creative writing, and the discipline to turn it in on deadline, thanks to years spent working at daily newspapers. 

Since leaving the newsroom, I've piled on the experience in the online realm, blogging, writing for the online space and managing the site and social media presences of TheDallasDiva.com. In addition, my writing has appeared in The Detroit News, The Dallas Morning News, Dallas Hotel Magazine, Latitudes (American Eagle's in-flight magazine), Zagat.com and Patron magazine. I've also created corporate communication and marketing content for companies, too.
