1975 Founded Chili’s Inc. Managed concept’s growth and development as its president. Responsible for development of all aspects of Chili’s concept including menu, service system, décor, building design, operations, POS systems. In addition, managed site and market selection, market planning and joint venture/franchising deals. 1983 As president, led in the Chili’s IPO in 1983. Served As Chili’s CEO from 1983-1985. Created casual dining seafood concept: Charley’s Seafood Grill. Developed concept to two units, then sold it to S&A restaurants (renamed to Baystreet Seafood Restaurants). 1985 Left Chili’s to pursue development and real estate opportunities. 1987 Bought an interest in Tia’s and began developing the concept for expansion. 1987-1995 Expanded the concept to 12 Tia’s .Served as President/CEO and was responsible for the overall strategic direction. 1995 Sold Tia’s to Morrison Restaurants, Inc., ( Ruby Tuesday) Mobile Alabama. 1998 to Present: Formed Turtle Creek Restaurants for development of casual dining concepts 2004-06 President- of the North Texas Food Bank. 2014 Developed TEN50BBQ in Richardson, Tx.
